I’ve known Simon Mwewa for many years.

Some people say they know you, but when they tell you they’re fans, they can’t name a single song. Simon was different.

The first thing he ever said to me was:

“That song of yours, We Rise… that’s my jam. I even had a music video playing in my head when I heard it.”

That told me everything I needed to know.

We Rise wasn’t one of my biggest records. It came from my Designer album, my third project after Officer in Charge and the Diamond Chain Mixtape. Only someone who genuinely followed my music would know that song.

That moment always stayed with me.

Today, I’m publicly endorsing Simon not because he asked me to. I was not paid to say or do this.

I’m endorsing him because long before politics, he consistently championed a cleaner, better Lusaka and a better Zambia. He didn’t wait for an election to care. He led by example, expecting nothing in return.

I was born and raised in Lusaka, and I genuinely believe that by giving Simon the opportunity to lead, we’re giving him the tools and resources to turn years of vision into meaningful action for our city.

This isn’t just about electing a mayor.

It’s about believing that Lusaka can become the clean, organised and inspiring capital we all know it can be.

I’ve always loved a bit of Spanish 🇪🇸 in my music. It’s one of the languages I’ve always wanted to learn and, should learn since I’m good with language.

I took French 🇫🇷 in high school and my favourite soccer player is Mbappe.

Anyway, my point be is, I didn’t want Argentina to win because of their racist sh*t! They deserved the loss in my opinion!
I really wanted Spain to beat them.

Some of their wins were questionable because they got favoured by the referee.

Besides, Spanish women are pretty fine! There! I said it!!! The language is sexy too.

Congratulations to Spain.

The first movie entirely shot in iMax.
Meanwhile, I’m actually a big Marvel Marvel Studios fan. I love full contact sports so, I’m into the UFC too. I’m a big Jon "Bones" Jones fan. The comic books kept this introverted out of trouble. It’s probably the reason why J don’t drink! My escapism came from reading comic books. It kept me out of trouble.
The music I make is also highly inspired by my entertainment. Michael Jackson has always been my favourite entertainer of all time.

It's in relation to one of my favourite artists of all time, Kanye West.
The lyric goes as follows:

“Another college dropout is a feeling I cannot bear
The only thing in common is that we’re both Geminis, I swear.”

In this lyric, I make a Pop Culture refrence to Kanye West who also happens to be a Gemini like me and his album 'College Dropout' has a cover with a bear on it. However, in the English language to bear something also means: to endure, tolerate, or withstand something, especially something difficult, painful, or unpleasant.
I cannot bear the feeling of being another college dropout.
Bear = the animal 🐻
This can connect to Kanye West's The College Dropout bear mascot, which appears prominently in the album's artwork and imagery.
