All OmegaTech cables are made to order, by hand, in our Belmont facility. Each cable has it own unique serial number which is fully trackable for warranty purposes. We add additional heat shrink so you can add your logo or barcode, or we can add it for you during production.

There's nothing we love more at OmegaTech than to see our gear in use in the field! Luckily, the crew at snapped some pics when they were doing some rigging at Federation Square.

They said our IP Split Box, OTS-TT-SPLIT, made the whole process easier. 'The front bar has four moving lights with no power loop out, and it's been so much better having the IP splitters to help run them.' Excellent!!!

Today is International Dog Day. As such we thought it only appropriate to highlight our Senior Strategy Analyst (Food Division) Marshall. In between his many naps at the office, he also heads up HR, OSH, and naturally he is appointed Fire Marshall for the complex. Thanks for all of your hard work buddy!

It's maximum efficiency Friday here at OmegaTech and helping with that is the newest member of the team, our new cable cutter, "Edward". In 48 minutes, Edward turned 500m of 3G2.5 RV-K cable into 432 pieces of cut, stripped cable. His ability to not only strip the outer jacket, but also the insulation of the individual cores, saved over 3,456 hand cable strips! Thanks Edward, have a b**r on us!!!

Recently we were approached by Barco Australia to provide a power solution.

We modified one of our existing Three Phase Splitters, swapping out the 3 Phase RCBO's and output connectors for single phase RCBO's and 32amp, single phase CeeForm output connectors. We retained the original 32amp, 3 phase Wilco input connector.

Waiting to see these thing's power up their gear, but if you need a single phase solution, this might be the ticket for you.

We had a great and busy weekend teaching the Advanced session of Chalk Cine Ctrl, Inc.'s Film Lighting Programmers Bootcamp at Perth Film Studios The students were put through their paces with a deep dive into the Fx engine, Networking, Pixel mapping and working with moving lights. Each student had an opportunity to plug their console into the lights and see their work in action.

We culminated the weekend by creating a real world, but very 'guerilla style' scenario of shooting a 'car chase' as if we were shooting in front of a green screen or virtual production space. Again, every student was able to plug into the rig, and test their work. There were some very creative results!!

A big thanks to Perth Film Studios for hosting these classes. Also a huge thank you to Screenwest and the Government of Western Australia for providing funding. We would also like to thank to the people who supplied us with equipment; .perth and NRG Productions.

Thank you to all the students who attended and we look forward to doing this again in the future.

Fresh of the QC bench and ready for delivery to our friends at .au are some new OTS-SBS-TG-L Stage Boxes. We added SAI's eye catching logo using our UV-cured, ink jet printing process to really stand out in the crowd.
