Attention clothes swap early birds!

For the first time ever we are trialling an exclusive option for our early bird swappers!!

Be the first to access the adults clothes with a time and quantity limit, with a power session ticket for our free July clothes swap.

This is to help prevent overcrowding the swap floor and avoid people having to stand out in the rain.

Enter at the time on your ticket. You will be given one special bag which you can fill with clothes for free. You can also take one bulky item (eg. Coat) which does not fit in your bag. Leave the swap floor at or before 11am so that our volunteers can reset the space ready for the main swap.

Join us for the main swap (opens at 11:30am) to grab some more items (no limit on the main swap), or take home your one bag of treasure!

If you have items to donate to the swap, one bag full can be brought on the day and handed to our volunteers at check-in, or larger quantities can be dropped off at our designated drop points up to two weeks before the event. All clothes and accessories must be clean and in excellent condition, and packed in reusable bags which you don't need back (paper bags are fine; no garbage bags).

After the 11.30am - 2pm main session, leftover items are packed up - some are stored for future swaps and some are donated to charities and other NFP organisations with specific wishlists.

Our team are 100% volunteers. We kindly ask for a gold coin donation to help cover the modest running costs of the event such as consumables, postage of leftover items, and supplementary items for the morning tea.

By collecting clothing early, allows us to start to sort the items, check for cleanliness/ damaged items, and hang clothes in readiness for Sunday 12th of July.

Because our shoes are usually set up outside, we unfortunately can't be sure that it won't rain on the day of swap... 🌧️☔ 🌧️

This event is FREE however we do ask for a gold coin donation on arrival, to cover the modest running cost.

As you can imagine there is a lot of work that goes into putting on such a large event fron our 100% volunteer team. This is not an event to make money; our goal is to keep clothing out of landfill by keeping the clothes circulating peer-to-peer as much as possible.
