Perdaman Chemicals & Fertilisers is progressing Project Helios Phase 1, a 30 MW integrated solar power project being developed to supply renewable electricity directly to Project Ceres in Karratha, Western Australia.

The project highlights:
☀️ 25 MW of ground mounted solar generation
🏭 5 MW of rooftop solar generation
⚡ Multiple connection points to the Project Ceres power network
📍 Installations across Site F, Site C and associated port infrastructure
🎯 Target operational readiness in 2027

Designed specifically for the demanding conditions of the Pilbara, Project Helios incorporates site specific geotechnical investigations, structural analysis and engineering designed to meet relevant Australian Standards for extreme wind and cyclonic conditions.

More than a solar project, Helios is an important component of Perdaman’s broader strategy to integrate renewable energy into large scale industrial operations, strengthen energy resilience and support the long term decarbonisation of Project Ceres.

The project also provides a platform for future clean energy opportunities, including the potential integration of renewable hydrogen into Perdaman’s industrial operations.

🚀 Perdaman and Calix Partner to Advance Hydrogen Supply for Zesty Green Iron Project

Perdaman is pleased to partner with Calix Limited (ASX: CXL) to develop the hydrogen supply solution for the Zesty Green Iron Demonstration Project in Western Australia. The partnership will support the project’s progression towards a Final Investment Decision (FID) and brings together Perdaman’s hydrogen expertise and project delivery capability with Calix’s innovative approach to low-emissions iron production.

🔹 Perdaman will deliver engineering and design for the hydrogen supply solution
🔹 Perdaman will serve as Calix’s hydrogen development partner for the Zesty Project
🔹 A 12-month exclusivity period has been established
🔹 Both parties will work with project stakeholders to progress the project towards FID

The Zesty Project aims to demonstrate hydrogen direct reduced iron (H-DRI) production at commercially relevant scale, supporting the development of lower-emissions iron and steel production. ⚡ Perdaman Appoints Electric Hydrogen as Preferred Electrolyser Vendor for Project Helios
Perdaman has appointed Electric Hydrogen as its preferred electrolyser vendor for the proposed Project Helios Phase 2 in Karratha, Western Australia.

The proposed project is anticipated to include more than 1GW of Solar PV and produce in excess of 120 tonnes per day of green hydrogen, supporting the decarbonisation of Project Ceres and advancing new product streams for Perdaman’s urea and ammonia manufacturing operations.

The appointment follows successful early engineering works undertaken by Electric Hydrogen under a pre-FEED agreement, marking another important step in the development of Project Helios and Perdaman’s vision for cleaner, Australian-made industrial production.

☀️ PROJECT SHOWCASE | WOODLAKE SHOPPING CENTRE

As part of its commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions, Perdaman Advanced Energy successfully delivered a 166 kWp rooftop solar PV system at Woodlake Shopping Centre. Delivered within an operational shopping centre, the project required careful planning and coordination to ensure all electrical infrastructure upgrades, installation and commissioning were completed safely and without disrupting tenants, customers or day-to-day trading.

Project Highlights:

🔋 166 kWp new solar PV array & 125 kVA SMA inverter
🔋 500 W Trina solar modules
🔋 Integrated with existing 220 kVA inverter capacity
🔋 Approximately 9,798 kWh of renewable energy generated during the reporting period

The result is a reliable, future-ready renewable energy solution that helps reduce reliance on grid electricity, improve onsite renewable energy utilisation and support the centre’s long-term sustainability objectives. 🌱 Paint a Pot, Help the Planet | School Holiday Activity Recap

School holidays were filled with creativity, colour and a little bit of gardening across our shopping centres! 🎨🪴

Families at Port Coogee Village, Northam Boulevard and The Village at Margs joined us for a fun, hands-on sustainability activity where children had the opportunity to paint and personalise their own pots, plant a seedling to take home and learn how small actions can help care for our planet.

From creative designs to budding little gardeners, it was wonderful to see children and families come together to enjoy a morning of learning, creativity and fun. 🌿

Designed and installed across multiple roof profiles, the new grid-connected system was developed to maximise onsite solar energy utilisation while addressing complex roof orientation, shading, and access challenges.

Project Highlights:

🎶 Our celebration featured a meaningful Welcome to Country and a special musical performance, providing an opportunity to reflect on the enduring strength, stories, and contributions of First Nations peoples.

🌿 It was a valuable reminder that NAIDOC Week is more than a celebration as it is also a time to honour the past, acknowledge the present, and look forward to the future together.
