Tomorrow we’re back at the Midvale SpeedDome for quality cars, fresh coffee and a morning with the people who make Perth’s car community what it is.

The forecast keeps flipping and flopping, so we’ll see what the sky serves up in the morning. One thing we can confirm: we’ll be there, the event is going ahead, and the coffee will be waiting!

This is our LAST Sunday morning meet for 2026, so round up your mates, dust off your pride and joy and let’s give the Sunday season a proper send-off!

Bring the weekender, cruiser, classic, street machine, project or bike—whatever puts a smile on your face. Whether you’re parking up your own machine or coming for a wander, you’re part of it.

We don’t judge cars at the gate—we welcome enthusiasts through it.

🚨 LEAVE THE GODDAMN CARS ALONE. 🚨

We shouldn’t have to say this, but here we are. It really saddens me to have to discuss this.

I’m seeing this discussed by organisers and car owners at local events and right across the country — and a recent report from our own event has brought it closer to home.

People running their hands over paintwork. Opening doors. Letting kids climb on cars or get inside without permission. Leaning over engine bays while bags, zips and buckles drag across someone’s pride and joy.

Since when did bringing a car to a show mean giving everyone permission to touch it?

These cars represent years of hard work, money, late nights and personal sacrifice. Their owners bring them out for everyone to enjoy. The least we can do is show some bloody respect.

👇 THE BOUNDARIES ARE SIMPLE:

❌ Don’t touch or run your hands over the paint.
❌ Don’t open doors or reach inside.
❌ Don’t lean, sit or climb on someone’s car.
❌ Don’t let your kids do any of the above.
❌ Keep bags, zips, buckles and jewellery clear of the bodywork.

An open window isn’t an invitation. An open door isn’t permission. And “it’s only a kid” doesn’t undo a scratch.

Parents and carers — this is where YOU come in. Supervise your children and teach them how to enjoy a car show respectfully.

LOOK, BUT DON’T TOUCH. ADMIRE WITH YOUR EYES, NOT YOUR HANDS.

Teach them to give the cars space, ask before touching anything and wait for the owner’s permission. We love seeing kids get excited about cars. Helping them understand the care and effort behind each build is how we raise the next generation of respectful enthusiasts.

And adults — set the example. You should already know better.

Want a closer look or a sit inside? ASK THE OWNER FIRST. If they’re not there to give permission, keep your hands off.

At Custom Cars & Coffee, we don’t judge cars at the gate — we welcome enthusiasts through it. But we absolutely expect respect once you’re inside.

There will be no event in October, but don’t worry—we’re not disappearing. Our Saturday Arvo Sunset Series will fire up again in November and run through until February. Dates will be released very soon!
