The CPSU/CSA’s Digital Engagement Specialist manages the union's online community and digital properties; creates and distributes valuable, relevant and engaging content to retain and activate existing members, and works to attract prospective members to the union.

The successful applicant will be responsible for deploying and improving the union's digital marketing and engagement practices and projects to achieve our strategic objectives.

On Friday, 4 September 2026, balloting opened for eligible WA Police members to vote on the latest offer presented for the 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 to replace the current 2016 Agency Specific Agreement (ASA).

Following the close of the ballot, results have been tallied with an overwhelming majority, 92.5% of members who voted, choosing to 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗣𝗧 the WA Police ASA offer.

Yesterday members and delegates affected by the proposed privatisation of SCL group homes were told that the decision has been made to go ahead with the privatisation of disability group homes, ending more than 50 years of public service delivery through Supported Community Living. Shame. Members and delegates were given this devastating news on R U Ok? Day in a snap closed meeting, that the union was barred from attending.

Our members have spent months worrying about their jobs, the residents they care for and what will happen to those relationships. The Department and Minister knew the level of anxiety this process was causing, yet workers were repeatedly left waiting for answers about their futures."
