A quick Melbourne pit stop last week to present at the inaugural Lead with Intent two-day experience, led by the incomparable Kurt Gillam from Intent Group.

A brilliant couple of days exploring leadership, influence and what it really means to lead with intention - with participants in my session gaining some bonus conducting skills along the way!

Words can’t quite describe the incredible feeling of pure joy and celebration that bounced around the walls of Llewellyn Hall this weekend across three sold-out shows with The Cat Empire and the amazing Canberra Symphony Orchestra!

A huge shout-out to everyone who made it such a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do 🙏🏻

Special mention to Roscoe James Irwin, who somehow once again made those black-and-white dots on the page leap off the score and into masterworks that hero both the orchestra and the band in equal measure, to the unflappable Chris Dixon for pulling the entire event together and hollinshka for being my partner in crime leading the troops!

So pumped for Melbourne, when we get to do it all again with Orchestra Victoria at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Jan 16!

Spent an adventurous few days flying high with Hiccup, Toothless and the incredible WA Symphony Orchestra (WASO) for 3 sold out performances of ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ in Concert at Riverside Theatre, PCEC.

Celebrating the music of Joe Hisaishi with the incredible musicians of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and the dream team from The Art of the Score Andrew Pogson and Dan Golding was amazing.

Sharing the stage with the phenomenal Aura Go as soloist made it even more unforgettable! Aura has the ability to light up the stage with so much warmth and incomparable musicianship - it was a magic pairing!

Thank you to everyone, from the ASO and Concert Lab to those on stage and behind the scenes, who made this such a joyful and memorable week of music-making.
