That’s where the little things start to matter.
 
An old logo on Facebook. Photos from three years ago. A quote that doesn’t really match the rest of the business. Different phone numbers floating around. None of it seems like a massive deal on its own, but put it all together and the business can look a bit thrown together.
 
And that’s frustrating when the actual work you’re doing is bloody good.
 
So before you decide the whole brand needs changing, spend 10 minutes going through these five checks. You might find you don’t need to start again at all.

Before putting more money into marketing, spend an hour looking at your business like you’ve never seen it before.
 
You know your business too well. You know what jobs you do, where you service, which button to click and what happens after someone submits a form. A new customer searching for a tradie doesn’t know any of that, and they’re probably comparing you with three or four other businesses at the same time.
 
That’s where small things start to matter.
 
Sometimes the best marketing work isn’t launching another campaign. It’s finding the little moments making it harder for someone to find you, trust you or get in touch.
 
Fix those first. Then send more people there.

Running a trade business can get complicated pretty quickly.
 
One minute you’re focused on doing good work. Then you’re making decisions about pricing, hiring, cash flow, marketing, systems, sales and a team that depends on you.
 
Most trade owners were never taught that part.
 
That’s what we built Hypotential for.
