Welcome to the Goodstart Maida Vale family! This page is a family-friendly community page where we can come together and share our interest in, and passion for, early childhood learning and care. While we are very excited to hear from you, please be aware that we reserve the right to moderate this page as we see fit and remove any posts or materials that we deem inappropriate or not beneficial to the wider community. This includes but is not limited to posts that are:

🎨✨ Our Maida Vale Community Masterpiece is Underway! ✨🎨
Day 1 of our School Holiday Program saw the children working together to create a colourful abstract masterpiece! Using cotton tips and their hands, they explored creativity, strengthened fine motor skills, and enjoyed the joy of teamwork. 🖌️🎨
💙 We'd love our families to join in too! Add your own special touch to our community artwork in reception and help us create a unique Maida Vale Community Masterpiece, proudly displayed for all to enjoy.

📢 King’s Birthday Public Holiday Reminder 👑
A friendly reminder that Monday, 28 September is the King’s Birthday Public Holiday and the centre will be closed.
We will reopen on Tuesday, 29 September and look forward to welcoming everyone back for another fun-filled week of learning and play.

Creating a safe sleep environment is one of the many ways we care for children each day. From following safe sleep practices and using approved cots, to completing visual checks every 5 minutes, our educators take every step to help children rest safely and comfortably.
We also work closely with families to understand each child's individual sleep routine, because feeling safe, settled and well-rested helps children learn, grow and thrive.
💜 Safe sleep is everyone's responsibility, and it's always a priority.

Our children had a fantastic time celebrating Talk Like a Pirate Day! in support of families affected by childhood cancer. They got creative making pirate hats, enjoyed a range of pirate-themed craft activities, and spent the day practising their best pirate talk with plenty of "Ahoy!" and "Arrr!" heard throughout the centre. ⚓☠️
A fun-filled day of creativity, imagination, and laughter for all our little pirates! 💛
