A little fun project for the Starlink Mini. Bought one of those 30v step up converters even though I run a short lead and generally don't have issues with voltage drop. Whipped up a nice little box with LED and switch that I'll fix to my battery box so there's no more need to pull the Anderson out every night. Printed on the new H2D printer named "Big Dog".

Gday Legends - finally got the Gold Monster 2000 stand finished and I'm pretty happy with the end result! With packing down and fitting in gear bags etc a key consideration I have designed this stand to be disassembled quickly and easy. Simple install - bolt the 2 shaft grips together at a shaft location of your choosing, slide stand base on the M5 bolt and locate pins, spin on the thumb nut and tighten.

The shaft grip is designed to fit the 22mm GM shaft but I have designed some room there to accommodate down to 20mm shafts. The base of stand spans approx 210mm and has a height of approx 115mm from the underside of the shaft to ground.

G'day guys. An actual print post😁 Noticed my Mycoolman fridge lid opener had snapped one tang off on the last trip so modelled and printed a new one. Took a few protos to get the close perfect and of course I couldn't just have a boring plain one. 🤣🤣

Another prospecting trip done and dusted between the 20th and 27th, was meant to be out there until the 29th/30th but the 23mm forecasted downpour for Fri/Sat meant we bailed on the Thurs. This trip we hit the eastern fault to continue to explore the theory of the diagonal shear through all 3 faults.

Jas snagged a small nugg on the Fri in the lower wash area (Day 1 of detecting) so we gridded that area out hard - nothing more. Saturday we got 1.5hrs in and then some forecasted "showers" hung around all f_cken day!!

Over the next few days I picked up a few nuggs in random spots. Jas went 3 days with SFA. I'm pretty sure I spotted a python curled up in a hollow fallen tree and was definitely chased up a tree by a rogue donkey lol!! We heard them honking, Jas was about 500-600m away, I was about 100m's away. I picked out a tree in case and sure enough this healthy looking Jack came in too fast too furious only to hit the skids about 50m's away. By then I had already walked up the bent salmon gum trunk and was about 1.5m's up off the ground. To be fair I don't think he was going to do anything, there were about 4 others and I'm guessing there was Jill and maybe a foal around hence his bravado.

There was noticeably heaps more birdlife down the south east end of the lease, with a pair of hawks over our heads most days, maybe a reason we didn't see many crows lol. The wildflowers were coming out and it was pretty green in most parts.
There was evidence of others being there i.e. a hairclip and panadol foil blister pack, along with some old VB cans etc.

We saw the min min lights one night - small floating lights heading north and south toward Venus which then disappear when they get close to Venus, no port and starboard lights and no flights on flight tracker!! We watched them for about 30 mins then Venus turned off!! No probing was reported or admitted in the morning!
On what was our last day (Wed) Jas snagged a nice 2 grammer out the back end right on top of the alleged fault line. In the end we got ourselves 8.24 grams which will barely pay our expenses but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

Although we didn't get enough "samples" the theory is still viable as a pattern is somewhat taking shape. Hopefully we'll get back out there late October (Kulin Races pencilled in start of Oct) and maybe squeeze another last trip in before it gets baking out there.

Another niche little print for some Agility friends. These are dog Touch Training discs to apparently teach your agility dog to stop and touch at certain points before going onto or exiting equipment i.e. skywalk/balance beam. Anyway it's all very technical 😁 but beats using a cd if they even still exist. Made from durable PETG, specifically printed in blue and yellow as dogs vision is more adept at picking up those colours. Small spike to push into the grass and keep it in place.

Mucking around with a design for a Goldmonster 2000 Stand - 22mm shaft. After some user input seeings I don't have nor use a GM2000. For pack down would a stand with legs/base that unscrews be more desirable or not a big deal?

This model is made up of three pieces - the mount and mid section will bolt onto 22mm shaft in front/behind armrest via 2 x M5 bolts (Philips) with a M5 Hex head bolt protruding through the mid section. Those sections will remain on the shaft and only require initial install. The base/legs will then be able to screw on and off by hand.

Just working on the best way to add stops once the base is tight. Legs span 210mm and should sit the GM approx 125mm from base of shaft to ground.

Likely fit other detectors that run 22mm - 20mm shafts as there's 2mm adjustability between top and mid mounts.

Open to user suggestions - if I can draw it I can print it!!

Had a little project to do today as part of the print/sewing room reno. Had to frame out a desk carcass out of 70mm x 35mm so modelled and printed these last night to assist. Nice having an extra hand!

New Product - 2011 - 2018 Ford Ranger 36oz Yeti Cupholder with 26oz Adaptor. I have modelled this one from scratch (see video) off my ol mans 2015 Wildtrack. If you have this style of console cupholder this will fit in either cupholder. I aimed to get it as central as possible whilst still maintaining access to the other console cupholder for the usual obligatory coin/junk storage. When you have French doors that rattle at the striker plate and there's nothing you can adjust!! Problem solved with a 2 minute model and 10 minute print!
