And that's a wrap for the first half of the year! 😳🎉
2026 has been pretty spectacular already and as the team prepares to go on their mid year break, we celebrate all the kids who have worked so hard.
Whether it was to learn new skills, improve confidence, improve strength and fitness or to be more independent in goals that are personally important and meaningful - it has been absolutely amazing. Thank you for letting us be part of your story, your journey and team 🤩
Thank you for the fun and the treats too!
Now, let Charlee cheer you on as you get ready to start term 3!
The HSF team go on vacation for their mid-year break! 🏝️✈️🏂
As a true multidisciplinary team, we all work together when it comes to clinical services. That means that twice a year (mid-year and year-end) we all go on break together!
This means that we can provide as flexible a scheduling system as possible on all the other weeks of the year!
Everyone will be back from their holidays on the 27th of July! 🗓️
From winter get-aways, to swapping winter for summer, international trips for holiday and visiting family, our team are coming back before the end of July to continue with their research and clinical work - though we think of it more like play than work! 😉
It's only July, but together we've had a stellar first half to the year!

We are proud to partner with Hannah Beazley MLA and the Town of Victoria Park in making the Community Hub a reality. They genuinely care about our community and the Healthy Strides Community Hub will provide a valuable transitional service for the children and families that we work with - to set them up to live their very best life! 🥰
Ain’t nothin’ gonna break our stride!
Always a pleasure to catch up with Dr Dayna Pool and I was excited to hear about how Healthy Strides Foundation is exploring opportunities to address gaps in transition-focused supports for our young people aged 15–24 with neuro-disabilities or complex physical disability.
Healthy Strides Foundation is an asset to our Victoria Park community, delivering vital supports that build independence, participation and connection for children and young people with disability.
Stay tuned for updates on this important work!
For over a decade, the Healthy Strides team has been on a mission to support WA families and young people living with neurodisability. And guess what? We’re only just getting started! 💙
Our approach has always been simple: combine the latest research and equipment with real empathy and community care. From our Move-A-Thon to pioneering new standards in paediatric support with ZeroG3D, 3D Gaitlab, the Neofect Upper Limb Robotics, a state of the Art Game-ification suite and innovative therapeutic options, none of this would be possible without you.
We’re thrilled to share that our brand-new Healthy Strides Community Hub is coming to life! 🌟 It’s designed as a vibrant bridge between childhood and young adulthood—helping our kids grow into confident, independent young adults with the right support by their side.
With today being the last day of the financial year, now is the perfect time to invest in that future! 💛
All donations over $2 AUD are tax-deductible and go straight toward supporting WA families and the work we have the privilege to do here at Healthy Strides.

Just another fun afternoon at Healthy Strides! 🥰
What we love the most about our space at Healthy Strides is the community that it gathers. A place to chat, meet a new friend or catch up with old ones!
The boys were in last week which was celebrated with bubbles, big laughs, a dance party and doing the worm all to a Michael Jackson playlist!
It was pure joy. 🤩
At the heart of it all is fun - it is about doing something you love, that you enjoy and is motivating. Fun doesn't mean it is easy! It just means you are enjoying the journey and for Nazeem, Brock, Lincoln and Owen - fun was about the joy of seeing each other again and doing something that they truly enjoy.
.
When there is fun, we have the perfect conditions to learn and do hard things - it is a pretty great side benefit! 💕💕
