Celebrate Auslan Day at Scitech! ๐
At Scitech, we believe STEM is for everyone, and we're committed to creating experiences where everyone can explore, learn, and discover.
On Thursday 1 October, Scitech will be accessible for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing Communities.
Auslan interpreters will be joining us in the Science Theatre, Planetarium, and on the Big Stage, while deaf mentors and volunteers from the West Australian Foundation for Deaf Children will be in our Exhibition Galleries.

Our next Low Sensory Session is coming up on Saturday, 19 September, with the Discovery Centre opening early from 8am.
Enjoy a relaxed morning of science and discovery with reduced visitor numbers, plus a specially screened Planetarium show at 9:30am. ๐ช
At 9:30am, the center will open to the general public, but Low Sensory Session visitors are welcome to stay as long as they like.

Our latest road trip is 6,000km and involves... a charter plane?! โ๏ธ
Our Aboriginal Education Program is on the road in the Goldfields, visiting 12 schools and bringing hands-on science experiences to students in some of WAโs most remote communities.
And when we say remote, we mean it! Our team is travelling across the region by road and even chartering a small plane to reach Tjuntjuntjara in the Great Victoria Desert.
For many remote students, a school excursion to Scitech simply isnโt possible. So we bring Scitech to them.
A huge thank you to AngloGold Ashanti Australia for supporting the program and helping us take curiosity further.

On Saturday, 19 September, the Scitech Discovery Centre will open early at 8am for a Low Sensory Session.
Designed for visitors who prefer a calmer environment, the morning will feature reduced visitor numbers and a specially screened Planetarium show at 9:30am.
The centre will open to the general public at 9:30am, but Low Sensory Session visitors are welcome to stay and continue exploring as long as they like.

The stickers are starting to tell a story!
