Sunshine, sea breezes and a trip down memory lane!🌊☀️
Bethanie Beachside village residents recently set off on their very first Out'n'About adventure from Yanchep to Moore River, and by all accounts, it was “simply a wonderful day.”
With the beach and charming coastal town almost to themselves, residents enjoyed taking in the beautiful scenery while sharing stories of summer holidays, crowded campgrounds and family adventures from years gone by. Over lunch, memories were swapped, laughs were shared, and plenty of new ones were made along the way. 💙

For Bethanie Home Care client, Jan, technology is helping her stay connected, informed and independent.😎
After attending a VisAbility meeting, Jan decided to explore Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses to support daily activities. Living with macular degeneration, Jan now uses the glasses to read menus and documents, make calls, send messages and access information hands-free, helping her do more for herself.

Today is R U OK? Day, a reminder that a simple conversation can make a meaningful difference.
Across Bethanie, teams are marking the day through morning teas, afternoon teas and other opportunities to connect, reflect and encourage meaningful conversations. These gatherings help create safe spaces where people can check in with one another and feel supported.
You do not need to be an expert to reach out, just someone who cares and is willing to listen. A genuine “Are you OK?” can be the start of an important conversation. 💛

At Bethanie Perth Central Social Centre, a recent outing to Fremantle gave clients the chance to see the city from a new perspective 🎡
From the heights of the Ferris wheel, they enjoyed 360-degree views across Fremantle, taking in the Fishing Boat Harbour, the city skyline and beyond. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience one of Perth’s iconic destination.
