Today’s lunch was simple and delicious: saffron risotto with Parmesan, roasted eggplant and tomatoes. A comforting little homemade meal. 🍽️

Remember the day we cooked pasta parmigiana for the whole footy team? My nephew said he was bringing “a couple of friends” and turned up with 12! Good thing I cooked enough… or so I thought! 😂

There’s something special about making gnocchi on the tray from my mum and dad’s wedding. It holds so many memories from when I was a little girl. Sometimes it was covered with biscuits, sometimes it held glasses of spumante for a family celebration. That tray has seen so many happy moments, and now it’s part of my gnocchi-making too. ❤️
