“Sumimasen(すみません)” is a common phrase for Japanese learners which means sorry/excuse me in Japanese.
But in customer service situations better to use “Moshiwake-arimasen(申し訳ありません)”
This is more professional and deeper apologies. We say it with naturally bowing.
「すみません」と「申(もう)し訳(わけ)ありません」
どんな時に使うか、知っていますか?🤔
In normal conversations we say “WAKARI-MASH*TA(わかりました)” when you acknowledge something.
But in customer service or even in business occasions we use “KASHIKOMARI-MASH*TA(かしこまりました)”
This sounds more professional and natural for that specific situation.
Lets learn more phrases with me to sound your Japanese speaking more professional🌟
In customer service many other countries you greet Hi, How are you, to welcome customers.
In Japanese hello is “KONNICHIWA(こんにちは)”
But as first greeting we say I”RASSYAI-MASE(いらっしゃいませ)“
There are also unique Polite phrases “KEIGO(敬語)in Japanese, different from what we use when we talk to someone close to ourselves.
Language Apps 🆚 Real human🗣️
Apps can teach you words, but they cannot have a real conversation with you.
It is completely okay to pause or feel lost sometimes. As a tutor I understand your busy lifestyle and always support your goals.
That’s one of the factors real human helps you improve language much faster than any AI tool.
Do you need someone to motivate you to speak Japanese? Let’s practice Japanese together!
言語アプリを使って会話の練習は出来ます。
でも、だれかといっしょに話す練習をすると、
日本語がもっと上手くなると思いますよ😊
