Adelaide Veterinary Walk In Clinic

🌟 Vet Nurse & Technologist Awareness Week 🌟

Today's theme is 'Guardians of Compassion'. Vet nurses and techs care for more than just the patient. They support families, offer reassurance and bring compassion to some of the hardest moments in Veterinary care. Helping bring closure to families by providing handmade paw prints and nose prints in house.

Today's theme is 'The Surgical Super Squad', attention to detail and teamwork make all the difference.

🐾 Steady hands, sharp minds, superheros in scrubs! 🐾

Today's theme is 'The Diagnostic Detectives'. From microscopes to radiology, they help piece together the puzzle and get patients one step closer to feeling better.

🐾 Behind every great diagnosis is a superhero with a microscope 🐾

Today's theme is 'The Power of Healing Hands', because sometimes healing starts with a gentle touch and a kind voice.

🐾 Armed with calm voices and healing hands, every cuddle saves the day 🐾

✨ Celebrating 30! ✨

Today we’re celebrating a very special person, it's Dr Isabella's 30th birthday! ❤️

We’re so grateful to have you leading our team. Your passion for veterinary medicine, dedication to our patients and kindness towards both clients and staff make such a difference every single day.

Thank you for everything you do — we hope your 30th birthday is as wonderful as you are! 🥳🐾🎂

🌾 GRASS SEEDS 🌾
The beautiful Bonnie visited us all the way from Burra Gorge tonight after snorting up a grass seed. Swipe to see how big it was! Her lovely pawrents brought her down for a sedation to remove the grass seeds from the back on her nose! 🐾🐾

🦴 Mabel 🦴

This lovely lady visited us after scoring herself the absorbent liner from a meat tray. She came in to vomit, and successfully removed the foreign object.

Although we hope she's learnt her lesson we can never be too sure!

🌶️ Chilli 🌶️
That's this handsome boy's name 😍 Chilli came to us after he had been caught chewing up a towel covering his cage. His owners quickly realised he had managed to wrap thread around his neck! They brought him straight in and Dr Hannah used her precision skills to safely remove the string. Chilli felt much better and started dancing!

🐾🐾 Mottii 🐾🐾
The most handsome gentleman visited us last week!

✨ Meet the team ✨

We are excited to welcome Kirstyn to the team as our new Lead Nurse.

Kirstyn graduated Veterinary Nursing in 2018 and has since worked in both general practice and specialty settings. She enjoys the fast-paced nature of clinic life and values building genuine connections with both patients and their people. Kirstyn has a special interest in fear free handling, particularly helping nervous or worried pets feel as comfortable as possible during their visit.

She looks forward to making stressful emergency visits as comfortable as possible for both pets and their people.
