🎉 AURORA'S FIRST EVER FIRST NATIONS SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT ANNOUNCEMENT! 🎉

🌟 CONGRATULATIONS, Tenika Bonner! 🌟

We are absolutely thrilled to announce the recipient of Aurora Training Institute's very first First Nations Scholarship for the Diploma of Community Services! ❤️

With a background in community-based organisations, Tenika has a genuine passion for supporting people and making a difference in her local community.

Some of her proudest experiences include working alongside people across the Toowoomba community, helping bring NAIDOC celebrations to life and having the privilege of working with Elders.

Through her studies in the Diploma of Community Services, Tenika hopes to build on her experience and gain the skills to support individuals and families facing challenges, offering a listening ear, guidance and encouragement when it's needed most.

At Aurora, we're incredibly excited to walk alongside Tenika on this journey as she continues to grow, learn and strengthen her connections within the community.
You'll also see her out and about with the Aurora crew at local events and community activities, so if you spot us, come over, say hello and introduce yourself!

We'd love to meet you! 😊

Congratulations again, Tenika! We can't wait to see where this journey takes you! 🎓

Talking futures, goals, and big dreams! 🎓✨ Back on September 16, 2026, Ian Belford and Vanessa stopped by Harristown State High School for their careers session. We loved chatting with such an ambitious group of students about what’s possible after graduation.

Drop a 👏 if you believe in investing in our youth!

So proud to celebrate the recent graduation of students who completed the SQW program with our partners at the The Allison Baden-Clay Foundation 🎓✨

With the incredible graduates alongside Vanessa Fowler (program coordinator, founder of the foundation, and beloved sister of Allison Baden-Clay). We were also honored to hear a wonderful congratulatory speech from Ipswich Mayor Teresa Harding.

Congratulations to all the graduates on this huge milestone!

Building Futures, Growing Together 🌱

Our team recently spent an inspiring day visiting our partners at the Youth Enterprise Trust on Woodstock Farm!

We were thrilled to take a tour of the farm alongside the incredible YET team and students, seeing firsthand the impact of our partnership supporting vulnerable youth through the Certificate II in Workplace Skills.

We are so proud to work alongside such a dedicated team to create real pathways, skills, and opportunities for young people. 💚
