Our Church and Tranby College jointly planted a Peace Pole yesterday, 20th Sept. The pole symbolises our common wish for a World at Peace. It stands as a silent vigil for peace, reminding us to think and act in the spirit of Peace. Today, 21st Sept., is the International Day of Peace. This day gives all of us an opportunity to make peace in our own relationships.
Our Church's Statement to the Nation, made by the inaugural Assembly in 1977, promised that we would continue to seek the reconciliation of all people.
