Runcorn Pony Club

Today we had our September muster, it was quieter than normal as people were away on holidays.
But for those that were riding they took part in some Equitation and some grid work which everyone enjoyed.

Some fantastic rounds across the day, bringing home:

🥈 2nd in Show Jumping

🏅 Olivia – 4th Overall in the U12 70cm

A big congratulations also to Ashlin, Jezebella and Chelsea, who each had some great personal wins and achievements throughout the day.

A huge congratulations to our Runcorn member Hayden Taylor, who has been selected to represent Australia in the U21 Australian Tentpegging Team! 🐴

Hayden is currently in South Africa, competing at the International U21 Tentpegging Championship from 7–13 September.
What an incredible achievement and opportunity to wear the green and gold on the international stage. We’re very proud to have one of our own representing Australia! 🇦🇺

A very special congratulations to our very own John Martin!

Runcorn Horse & Pony Club is incredibly proud to congratulate John Martin on being awarded Life Membership of Pony Club Queensland at the PCQ AGM.

This is a wonderful recognition of John’s many years of dedication, contribution and support to Pony Club.

Members Hayden and Ashlin were proudly representing Runcorn at the Burpengary Pony Club ODE over the weekend.

🌟 Ashlin & Cora competed in their very first ODE together, putting in a fantastic effort to finish 3rd Overall! A great start with plenty of promise for this exciting pair.

🐎 Hayden also took on a new challenge, taking a client’s young horse out for his first ever cross-country outing. A great opportunity to give the youngster some valuable experience and confidence around the course.

Well done Ashlin and Hayden — great to see our Runcorn riders out there taking on new challenges and developing their horses! 👏💙

The pair had a fantastic day out at Rathdowney Pony Club Campdraft, stepping up into the Associates class and putting together some great runs!
