Why Arb

Led by the client, delivered by us ✔️

The key to this job was careful, considered trimming to minimise impact on the existing plants, with all waste processed to suit the client’s needs 🪵

Big job wrapped up in West Moonah yesterday 🌿

The Why Arb team safely and efficiently removed two trees that had become a risk to the surrounding property. With tight access and nearby structures, the crew used controlled dismantling techniques to get everything down piece by piece - no damage, no stress.

From setup to cleanup, it is all about precision, teamwork, and doing the job right the first time. Another site left clean, safe and ready for what’s next!

If you’ve got trees that are starting to worry you, it’s always better to seek advice early 👍

Dead Tree Removal, Climb & Dismantle

This dead tree was positioned directly over power lines, so it had to be climbed and dismantled in sections.

Each piece was carefully rigged and lowered to avoid any damage, keeping the job controlled and safe from start to finish.

Dead trees can be unpredictable, best dealt with before they become a serious hazard.

Day 2 of the Arboriculture Australia Conference 2026 🌿

Another great day of learning, with speaker sessions covering topics like VALID tree risk assessment and crown bracing. Plenty of practical insights and takeaways.

An exciting time for the Arb industry!

Why use a crane for arborist work? 🌳🚧

When trees are too large, hazardous or located in tight spaces, cranes allow us to remove sections safely and with precision. Instead of dropping limbs and risking damage, we can lift and lower them exactly where they need to go.

✔️ Increased safety for crew and property
✔️ Ideal for confined or hard to reach areas
✔️ Faster, more efficient removals
✔️ Minimises ground impact and clean up

Sometimes, the smartest way down… is up!!

Chipping green waste on site isn’t just efficient - it adds value 🌿

By turning branches and cuttings into usable wood chip, clients can reuse it in their gardens, to improve soil health and reduce waste. If it’s not being used by the client, chipping cuts down the volume that needs to be taken away for green recycling - saving time, cost and environmental impact.

Less waste, more resource ♻️

Thanks Russel and Sally! We are proud of the team at Why Arb 👏 Always glad to know that our clients are pleased with our work! 😊
