“So… what do Property Managers actually do all day?”
Oh, you know… not much. 😂
Just a little bit of:
📞 Approximately 47 phone calls before lunch
🏡 Routine inspections & property visits
🔑 Key handovers (and hunting down the missing ones)
🔨 Coordinating trades… or occasionally becoming the tradesperson ourselves
💬 Part Property Manager, part counsellor, part professional problem solver
📝 Leases, renewals, rent reviews & compliance
🤝 Looking after owners, tenants and everything in between
🚨 Dealing with the occasional “well… that wasn’t on today’s to-do list” moment
📧 And emails. SO. MANY. EMAILS.
Property Management is fast-paced, unpredictable and definitely never boring.
And as a boutique agency, we deliberately keep our portfolio manageable so we can be hands-on, responsive and actually present for our clients.
So no… we don’t just sit around waiting for the rent to roll in. 😉
Although we do occasionally sit down for coffee.. well, sit down to wait for the coffee - and then rush to the next appointment😆☕️
