There’s a hat in every photo
‘Candy’ by mk.gee ꧁꧂ On a bit of a bts personal note, sitting and playing at the piano today for more than a couple of minutes was a really big deal for me! If you’re not in my personal life you probably wouldn’t know, but I’ve been struggling with a nerve injury in both of my arms for the past 15 weeks, bilateral TOS (Thoracic Outlet Syndrome). It impacts the major nerves throughout the arms, hands and fingers so doing anything repetitive or having my arms in certain positions has been extremely painful ((musician’s nightmare 🥲)). Not to sound too dramatic, but it’s essentially meant I haven’t been able to do a lot of the things that bring me joy in my life, and not being able to play my instruments and create with my hands has been at the top of that list. It still feels worlds away to pickup my bass again, but finally being back at the piano is a HUGE achievement and I feel extremely grateful, honestly had a big cry of relief shortly before filming this cover lol ~~. Here’s to (hopefully) many more songs at the piano ❦

it never stops feeling surreal seeing my vinyls’ in person. looking at the cover shot and the graphic design .design created, nearly a year later I find myself falling more and more in love with it and everything this album embodies.
