Creative Footprint Workshops

Our first 2 weeks have been fantastic! We've worked on exploring the themes and working together as a group. I love seeing all the ideas and new friendships being built 🧡

Wow, Springfield that was a big storm we just had! The rain radar is showing that the bulk of the rain has passed us and at our drama space we have blue skies. Drama will still go ahead but I'll keep you updated throughout the morning. ☔

Drama can go ahead in all weather and is the perfect rainy day activity. Just another reason to enjoy coming to our drama groups today! 🌧🌧🌧

Doing drama is a fantastic way for our children to develop this skill and take a step towards becoming the leaders of tomorrow. In drama you learn to walk in the shoes of other people (or characters!) and work so closely with your peers. I love drama! ❤

Empathy Is The Most Important Leadership Skill According To Research You always knew demonstrating empathy is positive for people, but new research demonstrates its importance for everything from innovation to retention.

Drama groups start tomorrow for term 4! I always love the first session of term where the groups start exploring their ideas for the theme. I'm so excited to see what they come up with!

Looking for more information about our drama groups? Here is everything that you need to know....

Afterschool groups run on Thursdays at YMCA in Springfield Lakes. Ages 5-7 at 3.30-4.30pm
Ages 8-12 at 4.45-5.45pm

Homeschool groups run on Fridays at YMCA Springfield Central.
Ages 4-7 at 9.30-10.30am
Ages 8-12 at 10.45-11.45am

The sessions offer creative and collaborative play, along with drama activities to explore a theme and bring this to life. Groups create their own dramatic stories throughout the term and have the chance to perform these in week 10.

Cost for the term is $150, or $120 if you are enrolling siblings.

Are you a homeschooling family? Did you know that our older homeschool group is now open to children aged 8-12? This group is child-led and focuses on confidence building, storytelling, creativity and working together. Children also have the opportunity to present their creative work to families at the end of term.

Have a younger child? Don't worry, we have a homeschool group for ages 4-7 too!
