Positive Dogs

Adolescent Dog class, week 4: well done to Arthus, Hugo, Merlot and Vale! We are so impressed with how well these dogs are responding to their guardians! Here we have them having some fun playing 'funder' and also focusing on their guardians by maintaining a 5 second 'look at me'. Keep up the good work everyone!

New classes start Friday 4 September and we still have space for your puppy.

Congratulations to our Senior Puppy Graduates! You've done a wonderful job teaching your puppies skills that will help you and your pups navigate our modern world. Well done to Bertie, Joe, Louis, Vale and Dougie! To wrap it up, they all showed off their tricks, from rolling over to heeling, leaving it, spinning and even filing their own claws!

Senior Puppy Class, week 3: we had Dougie, Bertie, Honey, Joe, Louis, and Valerius showing great focus on their handler while practicing 'look at me'. Recall practice was more challenging but we got some great responses towards the end! Great progress everyone!

Senior puppy class.

Our Winter class kicks off soon. It is so important to keep up the training after puppy class. your beautiful baby puppies are about to have a developmental change as they move into adolescence. You will notice a change in sleeping habits, energy, activity and all of that can come with some changes we might struggle with - barking, chewing, digging, resisting going to bed and making fun games of 'stealing' items around the home:)

Let us help you navigate these changes and keep you and your puppy learning and growing together.

We love our Adolescent Dogs! Graduating in May was a small but enthusiastic class, consisting of Trooper and Sesame (and Jindabyne, sadly not present for photos) and their guardians. Lots of fun to be had in this class, including games that help our growing "teenagers" focus and become engaged, even when the world is full of distractions and can even, at times, seem overwhelming (for dogs and their humans).

Senior Puppy Class graduation night: Congratulations to Murray, Peggy, Billy, Sara and Hank! Hank and Murray are showing a great 'sit and watch', Billy, a beautifully executed 'sit from drop', and Peggy and Sara, a 'lie on the side'. We also did a coordinated 'stay' with distance and duration! We wrapped it up with all puppies showing off their new tricks: give the paw, spin, roll over and pick the toy I name! Well done everyone!
