A pretty special night at MyFirstGym Strathpine tonight!

Coach Ellis and Coach Maisie have both been part of the MyFirstGym family for several years, but somehow tonight was the very first time they’ve coached together! 🙌

We absolutely love having this brother-and-sister team as part of our Strathpine crew. Both bring their own energy, personality and passion for keeping kids active — and tonight they finally got to do it side by side! 💪🤸‍♀️

It’s with very mixed emotions that we say goodbye to our wonderful Coach Ella as she heads off on her next adventure! 🥹

Ella has played such an important role here at MyFirstGym Strathpine, particularly in building and developing our MFG Fit space into what it is today. 🏋️‍♀️💪 Her passion for fitness, her energy, and the connections she has built with our members have made a lasting impact on our gym.

There are certainly going to be some BIG shoes to fill! 👟💙

We wish you every success as you step into your exciting new role and continue your PE teaching studies. We know your passion for helping young people stay active will continue to shine wherever you go! 🌟

This September, we’re proud to be supporting a Queensland charity that is very close to our hearts.

After 10 years working as a midwife, I have had the privilege of caring for many families during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. I have also seen firsthand women bringing their babies into the world without a home to welcome them too, without a clean nappy to put on their baby, or a blanket to wrap them in. The difference a little extra support can make during challenging times is very humbling.

Throughout September, we’re inviting our amazing MyFirstGym Strathpine community to help us give back. 🫶

We will be collecting donations of:

👶 Clean, good-condition baby clothing
🧷 Nappies
🧼 Baby wipes
🧴 Baby toiletries and essential care items

Simply bring your donations into the gym throughout September and add them to our collection.

🧸 TEDDY BEARS’ PICNIC CHARITY EVENT – 20 SEPTEMBER

We’ll also be holding a special Teddy Bears’ Picnic Charity Event, with money raised from the event being donated alongside all of the beautiful items collected throughout the month.

This is an opportunity for our little gym to make a BIG difference to families within our wider Queensland community. 💛

Every packet of nappies, every little outfit and every donation counts.
