A list full of classics that also rewards the adventurous looking to take the plunge. A Manzoni Bianco grown in Penedès, Tempranillo Blanco from Northern NSW, high-altitude Grenache and a new-school Rioja aged in concrete. Just a few of the wines on the list that Head Sommelier Keenan Turner is most excited about this season.

Next Saturday 19 September, Le Foote opens its cobblestone courtyard for Mondo Grosso, a very special afternoon of food, wine, negronis and music.

Settle in beneath the spring sun for a long French lunch sound tracked by a live jazz set by D**k, followed by D.D. Mirage behind the decks with their unique blend of Balearic melters and deep dubbed-out disco. As the afternoon turns golden and the sun begins to set, DJ KALI will take us through to the final groove.

Warm Honey Gateau. Brown butter honey cake with a crème pâtissière centre, topped with spiced apple, pecans, and drenched in apple caramel.

Cencio Dining Room pre-service, Kidman Cattle rib-eye with veal jus and Le Grill.

Gratin Dauphinois. Served hot, all winter.

Chocolate parfait, vanilla chantilly and cognac-soaked prunes crafted by Andrew Bowden

As featured in Financial Times, Kinross Station lamp rump with bordelaise sauce. The “Louis Vuitton of lamb”

Poireaux Vinaigrette. Flame charred leeks, toasted hazelnuts, soft herbs. Monchiero Langhe Nebbiolo.
