Working from detailed engineering recommendations, the scope included strengthening existing beams and bearers, installing new supports and footings, upgrading floor joists, reinforcing walls and bracing, strengthening timber connections, and improving balcony drainage.

What it looks like when we replace failed piers and level your floors 🏡

When our clients purchased their home in Thirroul, a structural inspection uncovered 18 failed brick piers beneath the rear section of the property.

Before their renovation could begin, our team got to work safely supporting the existing structure, removing the failed piers and installing 18 new UniPiers. Each new pier was set on a 32 MPa mass concrete footing pad.

We then leveled the affected floors, raising some sections by 25–45mm to correct years of settlement and subsidence.

The result? A safe, structurally sound and level foundation, giving our clients confidence to move forward with their renovation. 🔨

Another project completed on time, safely and with the site left clean and ready for the next stage!

Throwback to this lintel replacement project in Woonona 🧱

The lintel above the front window had rusted and failed, compromising the structural integrity of the brickwork. Our team came in, propped the existing brickwork, removed the deteriorated lintel, and installed a new galvanised steel lintel at approximately 2,500mm wide.

Once secured with non-shrink grout, we matched the mortar to the existing brickwork and finished with an acid wash for a clean, professional result. You'd barely know we were there, except the house is now structurally sound and looking great!

It's not always the most obvious repairs that matter the most, but get them wrong and they cause serious problems down the line. This is exactly the kind of work we love doing.
