Meet Guy - known to many of our regulars as ‘The Wh***ey Man’ 🥃
Guy is a long-standing, friendly face here at The Doss House, with a passion for wh***ey, the stories behind each bottle, and the rich history within our sandstone walls. His knowledge runs deep, but it’s his warmth, generosity and genuine love for what he does that leaves a lasting impression. 💚
The Doss House has always been about more than what’s in the glass. It’s the people, the stories, and the characters who bring this place to life. Guy is one of them.
And this year, we’re proud to have our bar team recognised as a finalist for Best Bar Team in the 2026 Australian Liquor Industry Awards awards. A recognition of the team that makes The Doss House such a special place. 🥃

A Sunday well spent with Two Stacks 🥃
Looking back at a brilliant day spent with Two Stacks Irish Wh***ey celebrating the Sydney Marathon! 🏅
From the first post-marathon pour, to an special masterclass with co-founder Shane McCarthy, it was a memorable day filled with great wh***ey, good company and plenty of stories.

The Doss House has been named a finalist for Best Wh***ey Bar, Best Live Music Venue and Best Bar Team.
Frank Mac’s is a finalist for Best Gin Bar and Best Bar Team.
And somehow, the little group behind both of them Heritage House Co. is a finalist for Best Bar Group.
Six nominations that mean a whole lot to us 💚
These bars only exist because of the people behind them and the people who walk through the doors every week. Our team, our musicians, our suppliers, our regulars, our locals and the thousands of you who have supported us over the years - Go raibh míle maith agaibh 💚
