Great result for the team in the Noakes Sydney to Gold Coast Race with 3rd overall in IRC and 2nd in Division 1. Sure was a fun race with great people. Big thanks to the amazing crew who pushed hard all the way.

That's a wrap on the 2026 Gold Cup/Super 40 Series and our summer season.

We came away with 2nd in IRC, ORC and SPR for the final Act, and 2nd overall in all three divisions for the series, behind the world-class team on Beau Ideal.

Every Act was sailed mostly in sub-5 knot conditions, with 10-12 Super 40s pushing each other hard across tight starts, glassy holes and tricky shifts. But consistency and persistence got us through.

Huge thanks to the Ambition crew and everyone behind the scenes that make it all possible. Now the focus shifts to longer distance racing.

Super proud of the team at the Sail Port Stephens regatta managing to finish 2nd in IRC, ORC and Super 40 Rule to the extremely well sailed professional crew on Beau Ideal. We also finished 3rd overall in Div 2 of NSW IRC Championship.

Super light winds, very short races and some world class boats/crews made some incredible tough competition in leg 1 of the Super 40 series. Really happy to come away with a 3rd on IRC at our first inshore regatta and plenty to improve upon. Well done to all the winners across the various divisions.

We’re back… Super 40 fun starts tomorrow

Sadly after almost 34 hours going upwind we had to retire from the Rolex Sydney Hobart race last night after finding one of our keel bolts had loosened. Not the result we wanted but everyone is safely back on land and that is what matters most.
