Jesse. Rose. 2026.
A marquise solitaire, a sunset, and a stick figure that says everything the photos already did.
Congratulations to you both, we’re honoured to have been a small part of this very special moment 🫶🏼

Emerald cut set east-west in the Marlii Cutaway — a small change in orientation with a significant result on the hand.
Same cut. Two completely different personalities.
Champagne old mine cushion on top — warm, complex, the kind of colour that shifts with the light around it. White old mine cushion beneath — cool, clear, more interior than any modern cut of the same shape.
Neither needs improving. They just need the right person.
Same shape. Completely different stones.
Old mine oval on top. Brilliant cut oval beneath. The old mine was cut by hand — larger facets, a higher crown, light that moves slower and warmer. The brilliant was precision cut for maximum brightness.
Neither is better. They just do different things. Which one you choose says something about what you’re drawn to.

Cream knit. Yellow gold. Oval diamond in a Georgian frame.
Some combinations just make sense.

North. South. East. West.
Four compass claws. One marquise. The Marlii Cutaway doing exactly what it was designed to do — hold the stone and get out of the way.

An emerald cut diamond in a full bezel setting.
Clean lines, softened edges, and warm yellow gold, designed to frame the stone with quiet strength rather than decoration.
This is the stone I couldn’t stop thinking about after our last viewing.
Old mine cushions have a quality I find almost impossible to describe on camera — they’re warmer than modern cuts, more interior, the kind of diamond that looks better the longer you look at it.

I chose an old mine oval for this one because I wanted the stone to feel like it had already lived a life before we set it. There’s a quality to old cuts that modern diamonds don’t have. More interior. The kind of stone that looks best in natural light, in real rooms, on real hands.
Georgian setting. Yellow gold. Worn with jeans. That’s exactly where it belongs.
