IT’S NOT ABOUT YOU
My belief is that a real man, a man of true substance, provides solutions. He doesn’t just add to the noise and call it wisdom.
So let’s try that again today.
One of the hardest things I’ve learned is that most things people do to you aren’t actually about you.
Someone disrespects you. Ignores you. Lies to you. Disappoints you.
And your first instinct is to make yourself the crime scene.
What did I do? What’s wrong with me? Maybe they’re right.
Stop.
People are walking around carrying s**t you know absolutely nothing about.
Old wounds. Fear. Insecurity. Anger. Guilt. Confusion.
Sometimes they’re just toxic.
And sometimes you’re simply standing in the path of whatever they’re carrying.
That doesn’t mean you have to accept disrespect. It means you don’t have to let somebody else’s dysfunction become your identity.
You can understand someone without excusing them.
You can forgive someone without inviting them back into your life.
And you can walk away without carrying their baggage down the road with you.
Because taking everything personally is expensive.
It costs you peace. Time. Energy. Focus.
And I’ve got too much life left to spend mine trying to figure out why somebody else decided to act like a wreck.
I’m busy building things. Making music. Shooting videos. Chasing the next song, the next idea, the next damn chapter.
My life is happening.
So is theirs.
Maybe that’s the real lesson:
You are responsible for your world.
They are responsible for theirs.
You might be a character in somebody else’s story, but you don’t have to become a prisoner of their plot.
Sometimes the healthiest thing you can say is:
“That’s not mine to carry.”
And then keep walking.

For those who don’t know me or my mahi, I’ve spent many years walking deeply into the worlds of mediumship, ancestral connection, energy healing, spiritual development and the unseen. My work is about creating a space where we can slow down, listen, reconnect and allow what needs to come forward to be seen.
I’ll be joining the beautiful shop for a couple of days, offering Seer & Mediumship Readings, Ancestral Healing, Energy Healing, Karmic Clearing, Guided Journeys and Ancestral Drumming Journeys.
Every session is different because every person is different. Sometimes you might be seeking connection with someone who has passed, sometimes there may be ancestral patterns or energetic layers asking to be explored, and sometimes you simply know you need a space to pause, receive and be held.
