Life is all about exploring, experimenting and discovering through hands on investigation!

Today in our big yard, the children embraced their curiosity as they recreated Wombat Stew mixing, stirring and experimenting with a wonderful collection of natural materials.

The fun and learning continued as the children created their own magical potions using flowers, coloured liquid and of course……… a little science magic.

Through these experiences, the children were encouraged to make predictions and explore cause and effect- all while developing their creativity, problem solving skills and confidence as young learners.

She is back! 💕
This week, we are delighted to welcome back our Centre Director, Miss Ellie, following her maternity leave.
We are incredibly excited to have Ellie back as part of our team. Over the past year, we have continued to grow, learn and work together, and we are looking forward to sharing all that we have achieved with her and collaborating on our plans for the future.
Ellie is excited to reconnect with many familiar faces and meet some of the new families, children and team members who have joined us during her time away.
Please join us in giving Miss Ellie a very warm welcome back. We are so happy to have you back, Ellie, and look forward to having her back! 💐❤️

Today we celebrate our wonderful Miss Vee! 💕

Over the past year, Vee has stepped up from Assistant Director to Director while Miss Ellie was on maternity leave. She has taken on the role with such dedication, commitment and care, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she has done.

Yesterday, Vee and Ellie had the opportunity to attend the SEQ North Professional Development Day.

What a fantastic day of learning, collaboration and professional development! We are looking forward to coming together as a team to create a plan for how we can implement and incorporate their learning and ideas into our service.

We can’t wait to see where this learning takes us!

💛 It’s the thought that counts… 💛
Recently, some of our team have been concerned about a friend.
One of our thoughtful team members, who wishes to remain anonymous, showed just how much she cares by bringing in some treats to share with the team.
It may seem like a small gesture, but sometimes it’s the little things that mean the most. It’s a beautiful reminder of the close bonds and genuine friendships that can grow within a workplace.

Thank you to our thoughtful team member for your kindness and for reminding us that looking out for one another is what makes our team so special. 💕

Today, our Kindergarten children headed off to Bunyaville Environmental Education Centre, and what a day they had!

To quote E: “It was the best day ever!” ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this special day possible, and a very big thank you to the amazing team at Bunyaville for welcoming us and supporting our children’s learning.

Our connection with the Bunyaville team goes back many years, and they have had such a positive and lasting impact on our service. We are so grateful for the opportunities they provide our children to connect with nature, explore, discover and learn.

Today we connected with the Aboriginal and Torres Stait Islander perspectives and culture as well as sustainability and our connection with nature.

We can’t wait to see where today’s experiences and learning take us next!
