Time is running out to apply for our Jump Charity Initiative for the 2026-27 racing season.

We're seeking submissions from local Charities, Clubs or Community Organisations to partner with us for the May Racing Carnival (DGR status no longer required for eligibility) and our Community Race Day. Plus, there's financial donations available to support local projects and initiatives.

After a highly successful 2025-26 season, where the May Racing Carnival partner, the Leila Rose Foundation raised over $77,000 for children affected by rare childhood cancer, we strongly encourage applications for the JUMP Charity Initiative.

There's only one week left to submit your application to WRC's JUMP: A Charity Partner Initiative. It's a simple, 10-15 minute application process and there are 4 tiers of funding available. From the May Racing Carnival Charity Partner, which no longer required DGR Status to be eligible, to monetary donations, there's a level of funding to suit all projects and initiatives.

The sun was shining for a beautiful day of Spring racing in Warrnambool.

Local trainers Shane Jackson and Simon Ryan had a winner each with King Snitz and Thaimor, and Ciaron Maher finished the day with a double, with Grifter and Captain Redbeard. Mel Julius celebrated her birthday in style with a double for the day!
