Brought home some lovely plastic wear for our troubles!
3rd in Aussie Tin Tops Outlaw class, 3rd in Vic Super Tin Tops, Heavy Metal class and another trophy for I think Outright Champion in Heavy Metal, will have to wait for the official results to be released before I can confirm that one!
Last race started P3and finished P3 after an epic battle all race with the super quick BMW! Thanks Stuart Gamble for that competition!
The Silvia coped another scar in that race with a Skyline front wheel in my passenger door into turn 1 on about the second last lap.
Held the position, so all good!
So now Seato has got a bit of fiberglass and steel panel repairs before our last round in Sydney at the end of November!
Great weekend even with all the damage!

Very happy with that result, started P11, was in P3 by turn 1, finishing in P3 after almost taking P2 off the BMW on the second last turn, but I out braked myself and put two wheels in the dirt and lost the position back to him.
Congratulations to Jooga for taking out the win again!
Starting directly behind Cory in the last race, will try and stick with him this time!

Well with the front bar and bits behind it straightened out and appropriate amount of orange race tape, we had some dramas in Qualifying, with the throttle deciding not to want to work after a couple of laps, requiring full shutdown and restart to get going again, that happened 4 times.
Still managed a reasonable time to put me in P4 for race 1.
Found a loose wire in the pedal plug and a recalibration of throttle control, that to everyone that helped with that.
Race 1 finished 3rd behind Roger and Cory.
Race 2 started to rain in before we went out, I think most went out on slicks, very greasy track for the first 1/2 dozen laps, then dried out nicely for the last half of the race!
I got tagged from behind on lap 3 coming out of turn 9 and spun me around, then when coming back onto the track I didn’t see Keith Colin’s coming and forcing him into the weeds, no contact but cost me a 15 second penalty, putting me into P11 for the first race tomorrow!
Fine day forecast tomorrow!

Big apologies to fellow Silvia driver Cory!
Second practice was on a wet track again, and the car felt incredibly capable, was running on Cory’s tail for the whole session, (not acceptable behaviour on practice days)!
Anyway locked brakes going into turn 11 right under Cory’s bumper, tagged him and sent us both off!
Both cars repaired with some under panel straightening and race tape!

And great job to Cory’s team getting the sister Silvia ready for another crack tomorrow.
Tomorrow is going to be wet again, but not as wet as today.
I am really enjoying the wet driving!
Anyway tomorrow is 1 practice, Qualifying then 2 races, can’t wait!

Wet practice day at Winton today!
Possibly even wetter for tomorrow’s racing!
First practice done, car feels very positive on the Michelin wets!
Dogged up windscreen is my only complaint!

Awesome weekend with the VicTinTops, I had a clean sweep of the 4 races, with very close to a PB for me in the last race!
Brought home the plastic!
Great looking class trophy made by Ran Macklurkin!
Also picked up a new fan!

A few tweaks and a clean thanks to the dinosaur mechanic and TAFE motorsports boys, before the first race this morning!

Finished P3 outright!
Bloody awesome weekend, great weather great racing, great camaraderie!

Race 2 started P5 finished P3 after great close racing with the local guy Martin Farkus in a BMW until he lost traction in the tight right hander turn 6.
Also Brent Edwards had a mechanical failure. So I’ll take 3rd, making the three Nissans and Three Albury boys 1,2 and 3!
Two races today all on Kayo first at 11.30 South Aus time.
