Wynnum Anglicans St Peters
St Peter’s weekly worship times ~ Sunday 8 am + 10 am (contemporary service only on 1st Sunday) + Wednesday Morning prayer 9.00 & 10 am Holy Communion service.
St Peter's Anglican Church is a part of the local Wynnum community. We are currently meeting on Sunday mornings 8am for a Eucharist service on Wednesdays at 10am. We are also continuing to offer Sunday worship live on our YouTube channel. Through music, prayer, good teaching and spiritual expression we offer a way into relationship with the living God through Jesus Christ. Our primary aim is to share God's story and discover the connection between God’s and our own story. Relationship with God and our community is the heart of what St Peter's is all about. You are most welcome to join us online or in person. If you would like to get in touch, or consider joining our Parish, please reach out via Facebook Messenger, our website, email or phone.

"One of the most inspiring conference moments was during a Morning Prayer led by The Rev'd Mamuor kun Peter. He shared a childhood story about tending sheep and keeping them warm with a fire at night. When the fire began to fade, his father would bring the scattered sticks together and the flame would burn brightly again. He likened this to God gathering us together so that our faith remains strong and our collective light can guide others," says The Rev'd Sam Sigamani (Image by anglican focus, August 2026)

I once saw these words carved into a wooden cross in a small chapel: “Christ beside me, Christ within me, Christ to shield, and Christ to win me.”
Beautiful, humble words that have helped me be ready for life and adventure.

“The legacy of Francis is not ultimately about animals, though he loved them. Nor is it about romantic poverty or medieval nostalgia. The legacy of Francis is a radically Christ-centred life marked by humility, joy, peace and love for all creation,” says Archbishop Jeremy Greaves
“The ‘real’ St Francis of Assisi was far more unsettling than sentimental

🎉💙 Happy Father’s Day! 💙🎉
What a wonderful day of celebration, thanksgiving, and joy as we honoured fathers, grandfathers, and all the special father figures who make such a difference in our lives. 👨👧👦🙏
Our 10.00 am Family Service was filled with smiles, laughter, and energy! 🌈
✨ It was especially heartwarming to see our little children (and some older children too! 😊) enthusiastically joining in the action songs 🎶🙌 and enjoying creative craft activities 🎨✂️.
