In 2014, Syed Kamal, an American IT executive and entrepreneur with Pakistani origins belonging to a farming family for many generations, saw an opportunity to re-start Milgor while helping local farming families and communities. He set about on a very challenging endeavor to build a team of experts and advisers to help negotiate and plan the re-starting of Milgor. In 2015, Gillani International d.o.o. Gorazde acquired and re-started Milgor, producing various dairy products including fresh milk, Gouda cheese, yogurt, and pavlaka.
