Some people come into your life and leave behind memories that time can never erase. Barry was one of those special people, a true friend, a loving father, a caring uncle, and a man who believed deeply in his son, his family, and the people he cared about.

I will always cherish the good times we shared, the laughter, the conversations, the socializing, and those moments when we could simply sit back and enjoy life together. But beyond the good times, I will remember Barry for the knowledge, wisdom, advice and guidance he shared, especially when it came to planning projects and turning ideas into something meaningful.

He had a way of offering advice from experience, always wanting to see people succeed and his family prosper. His love for his family and his belief in his son were truly evident.

Barry, your presence will be missed, but your memories, wisdom, laughter and the impact you made on those around you will live on.

May God grant you eternal rest, and may He continue to give strength and comfort to your family during this difficult time.

Rest peacefully, my brother and love you always my friend. Until we meet again… Rise In Glory. 🙏🏾🕊️❤️

The North West Alliance Agriculture Project is a powerful testimony of what can happen when we choose to create opportunities instead of closing doors.

This initiative was born out of a simple belief: people who have made mistakes in the past should not be defined by those mistakes. They deserve a second chance to rebuild their lives, provide for their families and contribute positively to society.

Mr. Vincent Edwards and the entire team are a perfect example of what a second chance, coupled with opportunity, determination and support, can achieve. Their journey reminds us that sometimes, all a person needs is someone to believe in them and an opportunity to prove what they are capable of achieving.

This is more than agriculture. It is about empowerment, rehabilitation, dignity, self-reliance and creating a pathway to a better future. 🌱

For me, this is what genuine Parliamentary Representation should always look like, listening to the people, identifying opportunities, bringing stakeholders together and turning ideas into tangible projects that can transform lives.

I extend sincere gratitude to the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Nutritional Security, Dr. Hon. Shantal Munro-Knight, MP, Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs, Hon. Adrian Forde, MP.

Everyone deserves a second chance. With determination, opportunity and support, past mistakes can become stepping stones to a brighter future. I am proud to support positive change, empowerment and people who are determined to make a difference in their communities. 💪🏾🌱 🪴 🫘

On Thursday 6th, August, 2026, was another day of getting the work done across St. Michael North West.

These trees had become seriously overgrown, with one tree deteriorating to the point where branches began breaking off and landing in the roadway while vehicles were passing along St. Stephen’s Hill.

I firmly believe it is better to be proactive than reactive when it comes to the safety and wellbeing of our communities.

My Tree Trimming Project started 8 years ago and while occasional equipment breakdowns can create delays and backlogs, the commitment to getting the work done remains unwavering.

I want to assure my constituents that every single issue will be addressed, one by one, within my power as your Parliamentary Representative. We will continue to work consistently, not just when there is a crisis.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire MTW Tree Trimming Department land special appreciation to the management and teams at the NCC and General Electrical Department for playing such a pivotal role in making this project possible.

The work continues.
The commitment remains.

Building Homes. Restoring Hope. Changing Lives.

Every time I walk onto a construction site like this, I am reminded of where I came from. I will never forget growing up in Black Rock and experiencing substandard living conditions. Those experiences shaped my heart, strengthened my resolve and continue to fuel my passion to fight for those who need a helping hand.

For me, housing is more than bricks and mortar, it is about restoring dignity, creating opportunity and giving families a safe place to call home. That is why I remain committed to working tirelessly to improve the housing and living conditions of my beloved constituents, especially the less fortunate.

On behalf of Mr.Lynch, I wish to say thank you. I am deeply grateful to the Barbados Labour Party Government for its unwavering commitment to uplifting ordinary Barbadians and to the incredible team at the Rural and Urban Development Commission for partnering with me to transform lives, one home and one family at a time.

My journey has taught me never to forget where I came from and I never will. As long as I have the privilege to serve, I will continue to stand with the people, work for the people and ensure that no family is left behind.
