Developing the Leader Within at FinSource

At FinSource, we believe leadership is not a job title—it’s a mindset and a lifelong journey. We recently had the opportunity to attend a leadership development training at our office premises, arranged by FinSource and facilitated by an external certified John Maxwell coach.

The session, “Developing the Leader Within You,” challenged us to shift our perspective from managing tasks to leading people. It reinforced the idea that while many people lead by default, great leaders lead by design.

Key takeaways from the session included:

✅ Prioritizing with purpose—understanding the difference between what is urgent and what is truly important
✅ Building trust—recognizing integrity as the foundation of influence
