Welcome to A.R.I.E.S.!

The UIU Robotics Club proudly organized the Inauguration Program of A.R.I.E.S. 1st Batch, marking the beginning of an exciting journey of learning, building, and innovation.

The inauguration was graced by A.R.I.E.S advisors Dr. Suman Ahmed, Head, Dept. of CSE & Director, CDIP, UIU and Dr. Abu Shafin Mohammad Mahdee Jameel, Director, CAIR, UIU along with A.R.I.E.S. instructors Mr. Md. Abid Hossain, Mentor of the UIU Mars Rover Team & UIU Rescue Rover Team, and Sudipto Mondol, Mentor of the UIU Mariner.

Autonomous Robotics & Intelligent Engineering System (A.R.I.E.S.) is a joint-venture course by the Center for Development of IT Professionals (CDIP), UIU and the Center for Artificial Intelligence & Robotics (CAIR), UIU.

As the first course of its kind in Bangladesh, A.R.I.E.S. marks a significant milestone in the country’s growing Robotics & AI landscape.

We are excited to welcome all the participants and look forward to seeing them explore autonomous robotics, intelligent systems, hands-on projects, and real-world engineering challenges.

UIU Aerial Robotics Team (UART) has made history by securing 4th Place Worldwide at the prestigious Student Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS) Competition 2026 in their first-ever participation.
