Embroidery, (hand)sewing and drawing are the most important techniques used. With this page, you can follow every little step of the whole process and see sneak peaks of new projects.

The joy of spinning. 🐏🧶

It was finally cold enough to take out and bundle up in multiple knitted garments. Makes me want to take out the more wintery bags too. 🤭

This post is to highlight two patchwork bags that are now at a discounted price, but still looking for a new home! But I also want to check if there’s any interest in a new batch of one of a kind bags, with the typical patchworks that I did before? The heart shaped patchworks was done for Valentine’s Day.
I still have a lot of leftover pieces and I want to find some time to make a few more of these bags, but I want to be sure there is interest in them as they’re a bit more time consuming to make. ✨
So feel free to let me know! 🥰

✨CHANGELING✨
The Changeling knitting pattern by Karel Chan is now live! ✨
I was so, so fortunate to be able to test knit the cardigan version of this gorgeous pattern and I absolutely love this garment. All over colorwork was very engaging. Never a dull moment! The pattern is so well written. This was a very enjoyable test knit.
Like last time, I took the time to make an illustration to accompany the FO photos. So hope you like that too! 🐇 🍵 🌿
Do you want to make one too with the same yarn and color combination? I put some yarn kits together featuring Biches & Bûches Le Petits Lambswool, which I used for this test knit.

A batch of DPN covers hit the shop!
It tried to offer a mix of different sizes and designs. So I hope you like what’s added. If not, you can always use the preorder listing to get the one you prefer. 🩵

As a knitter, it is extra rewarding to be able to wear the things you knit. So with the colder weather approaching, I’m all for taking out my knits which is couldn’t wear during the zillion heatwaves and snuggle up in them to get warm and toasty. And, obviously, it makes it extra cosy to go for a more autumn(/witchy) vibe type of project bag to store works in progress in. 🤭

It’s crazy to think it’s only been 2 years since Fiona joined our family, because she quickly became a very beloved knitting friend to so many of you. 🐂
She’s one of the designs I try to keep as well stocked as possible. So I hope that if you want to give her home too, you have enough options to choose from. 🤎

I’m not sure if it’s the cooler weather or the fact I’ve been watching the (spinning) vlogs of Tᴀɴɪᴀ and Little Brown Bird Co and Jente or maybe it’s even both these things, but I’ve been really, really inspired to spin again.
So I decided to have a bit of a fun experiment with trying to make my first 3ply yarn. I went through my stash and found a hand dyed Corriedale roving of a business that has now closed (so I can’t tag them) and some Jacobs by jule ↟ woollentwine which I both picked up ages ago. I’m not sure if this all will work out and whether or not my skein will even be looking nice, but this is why we try things and experiment. Maybe we fail, maybe we succeed. But at the end I’ll have learnt something while having fun.
The first bobbin is spun up and I started on the Jacobs already. Will switch back to the Corriedale for the 3rd single after the Jacobs is done. It’s more fun to go back and forth, in my opinion.
Might have to try and find a proper lazy kate now too, haha! 🤭

Ever since the wristlet strap was added as an option for wholesale clients, I can tell the need for it in the shop has increased. So I’m slowly adding more stock where the wristlet strap is already included!
What add on option do you prefer? Let me know!
