Wij zoeken versterking! 🙌

Voor oktober en november zoeken we enthousiaste flexi’s om ons team bij Restaurant Captain Cook in Ieper te versterken.

We zoeken:

🍺 1 flexi voor de bar
🍽️ 1 flexi voor de zaal

Je werkt vooral op dinsdag, woensdag en donderdag. In overleg kan dat eventueel ook tijdens bepaalde weekends.
Dit vanaf 17:30 tot max. 22:00.

Ervaring is mooi meegenomen, maar vooral enthousiasme, klantvriendelijkheid en zin om de handen uit de mouwen te steken zijn belangrijk.

Today, we had one of the most impressive and emotional experiences of our journey😔 visiting the battlefields and memorials of El Alamein, where one of the defining battles of the Second World War was fought.

Walking through this land, knowing what happened here more than 80 years ago, is difficult to put into words.

From Churchill to Rommel, from Mussolini to Hitler… names that became part of history. But behind those famous names were thousands upon thousands of ordinary young men, sons, brothers, husbands and fathers, who never returned home 🥀

So many lives lost. So many families left behind, carrying the pain of a war that changed the world forever.

We first visited the Italian War Memorial, followed by the resting places of the British and Commonwealth soldiers. Standing among the graves, seeing the endless rows of names and realizing how young so many of them were… it leaves you with a lump in your throat 😢

Today was not about winners or losers.
It was about remembering the human cost of war.

Our thoughts are with every soul who lost their life at El Alamein, regardless of which uniform they wore.

May they never be forgotten. 🕊️

We’re still in the middle of this deeply moving battlefield tour, and it’s simply too impressive to put into words right now. We’ll share our story and reflections with you very soon 🌺

Today, we are twice as proud! 🥹🎓❤️

One of our twins still had one final resit exam to take… and today we received the wonderful news: she passed! 🙏✨

This means that both of our girls have now officially graduated from secondary school. What a beautiful chapter for them to close together 🥹❤️

Now a whole new challenge awaits them: KU Leuven! 🎓📚🇧🇪
We wish them both every success, wonderful new friendships, and above all, lots of happiness as they take this exciting new step in their lives.

Vandaag zijn we dubbel trots! 🥹🎓❤️

Eén van onze tweeling moest nog één herexamen afleggen… en vandaag kwam het verlossende nieuws: geslaagd! 🥳🙏✨
Dat betekent dat onze beide meisjes nu officieel zijn afgestudeerd van A*O. Wat een prachtig hoofdstuk dat ze samen mogen afsluiten🥹❤️

Nu wacht een heel nieuwe uitdaging: KU Leuven! 🎓📚🇧🇪
Wij wensen hen allebei ontzettend veel succes, mooie vriendschappen en vooral heel veel geluk tijdens deze nieuwe stap in hun leven.

Dear customers, it’s almost time! ✈️☀️

From 30 August to 14 September, we’ll be taking a short break to recharge our batteries 😇❤️

On Saturday 29/08, we will exceptionally close at 21:30, so we can tidy up and clean everything properly before boarding the plane on Sunday 🧹✈️

From Tuesday 15 September, we’ll be ready to welcome you again with lots of love, joy and renewed energy! 🥰
