Her fosters are traveling so she has to come back. Her flight got cancelled once due to logistics and now she has to wait til December. Biscuit made alot of progress in foster care and we want her to continue to learn and grow so she can have an easier transition when she travels and get adopted 🤞🏽

Sometimes, all a dog needs is a little space to bloom. 🐶
Life in a shelter can be stressful. In a foster home, dogs get the chance to relax, feel safe and show us who they really are.
And that can make a huge difference.
Fostering helps dogs:
🐾 Adjust to a home environment before adoption
🐾 Show their true personalities
🐾 Build confidence and learn everyday routines
🐾 Have a better chance of finding the right forever home
And yes… a calm environment can bring out their good looks too! 😍
These are a few dogs who quite literally bloomed in foster care.
Fostering doesn’t just give an animal somewhere to stay. It gives them a chance to become the best version of themselves — and helps them take that next step towards a forever home. ❤️
Want to know more? DM us.
And as always please share this post to help us reach potential fosters in Bahrain.

Our weekly campaign to spread some virtual gratitude; to our fantastic fosters, who foster cats, dogs (or even both!) is here 🙌🏽
This week our Foster Friday goes to Nathania who is fostering Lottie 🐶
Lottie was a stray that suffered from a car accident 😢
Her time on the streets after she was dumped was filled with hardship. She had a broken jaw and an inguinal hernia that needed surgical correction and follow up care 🥺
Once she was healthy again, she struggled with the stressful environment of the shelter. Nathania agreed to foster her to help her decompress and adjust to life in a home 🏡
Being in foster care made all the difference for Lottie. she took to potty training in no time and enjoys her daily walks on the beach ❤️
Lottie is a very calm and relaxed girl who enjoys belly rubs and loves humans of all ages/sizes as well as other dogs. She adores cuddles and belly rubs and is the happiest chilling on the couch. She is well adjusted and is looking for her own family now 🥹
We cannot stress enough how life saving and amazing fostering is. Animals are often too young to join the shelter or need special care and love to transition into life as a family pet that only a foster home can provide 🩷
Overall: BARC and Lottie are furever grateful to you Nathania. Thank you!
Lastly, becoming a foster at BARC has never been easier. DM us or visit our website www.visitbarc.com for more information 🐾

When we moved to the new sanctuary, we feared that we would have to give up the luxury of having solar power to support our power needs.
Our phenomenal donor had other ideas. A team was commissioned to design a new solar grid for the new shelter to make sure it can match our power needs for atleast 12-14 hours per day.
• 750 x 460 KW /Hr solar panel
• 42 x 672 KW total capacity lithium batteries
• 500 KWH hybrid inverter
• Customized Room with high-precision smoke and temperature sensors, lighting, exhaust system, monitor and air conditioner, as well Protective equipment.
All the above and more to make sure all the AC units and other appliances are powered fully to create temperature controlled environment that the animals and staff can rely on.
The generosity and consideration involved in this project is beyond words. We can never express sufficient gratitude or appreciation. We can however, report the happiness and wellbeing of hundreds of animals as a result of this wonderful donation. May you always enjoy peace of mind and good health for making this a reality for our rescue animals 🙌🏽

Help with vet bills please 🙏🏽
Orbit suffered from bite wounds and needed immediate hospitalization to stabilize him and treat his wounds. He also got necessary diagnostics and much needed dental work. His wounds healed fully thanks to quick intervention 👏🏽
Italy was peeing blood due to a urinary tract infection. She needed diagnostics to treat properly and has been on a special medical diet ever since in order to treat the infection and make sure it doesn’t recur again 🤞🏽
Please help us cover their bills by donating directly to the clinic benefit +973 3368 9990 and sharing a screenshot of your contribution with us 🙌🏽

Meet Banjo ❤️ 🐶
*From Sheltered to Shining, This Sweet Boy is Ready for His Forever Home!*
Imagine being only three months old and finding yourself completely abandoned. That was the heartbreaking start for Banjo, a gorgeous 6-month-old Maltese mix, but he refuses to let his past define him. After being dumped as a tiny puppy, Banjo spent a couple of tough months at the shelter. Being so small, he was sadly bullied by the larger, adult dogs. To keep him safe, we moved him to our puppy cabin, but what he truly needed was the warmth of a real home. For the past couple of weeks, Banjo has been thriving in a wonderful foster home. His foster parent cannot praise him enough: _”He’s a lovely little bundle of joy and has settled in so well_.”
Why Banjo will steal your heart:
*Dog & Cat Friendly* - He currently lives peacefully with three cats and a large English Retriever. He loves having a doggy guide to show him the ropes!
*Fully Prepared*: At 6 months old, he is already fully vaccinated and healthy.
*Resilient & Loving*: Despite a rocky start and being bullied, he has zero malice in his heart. He is a true “bundle of joy” who just wants to love and be loved.
Banjo is a remarkably sweet little boy who has shown nothing but resilience, adaptability, and affection. After everything he has been through, he deserves a wonderful, committed family to call his own.
Could you be the forever family Banjo is waiting for? ❤️ 🐾
