Congratulations to all the Association of Bermuda International Companies (ABIC) 2026 scholarship recipients!
Our Consul General joined government leaders, the business community, and education partners at ABIC’s Annual Education Awards to celebrate students who will advance their studies in the United States, UK, and Canada this academic school year. She was pleased to connect with the U.S.-bound students who earned scholarships to support their studies at St. John's University, Arizona State University, Oral Roberts University, and Columbia University in the fall.

U.S. Consul General Antoinette Hurtado was pleased to join the Governor and Premier in roundtable discussions with Bermuda International Long Term Insurers and Reinsurers - Biltir summer interns. She spoke with the college students - who are studying in the U.S., UK, Canada, and beyond - about careers and the significance of U.S.-Bermuda economic ties, particularly in the re/insurance sector. U.S.-Bermuda educational ties continue to grow! Arizona State University is expanding its partnership with Bermuda to include a new agreement with Bermuda College that will explore student and faculty exchange as well as scientific collaboration. Consul General Hurtado congratulated ASU and Bermuda College on launching this new collaboration that will provide Bermudian students another accessible pathway to higher education opportunities in the United States.

The Newport, Rhode Island to Bermuda race is a tradition that spans over 100 years and 636 nautical miles. U.S. Consul General Antoinette Hurtado was honored to participate in the prize giving ceremony and congratulated the U.S. Naval Academy and U.S. Coast Guard Academy Ocean Racing Team on their wins. 🇺🇸🇧🇲

We were excited to partner with the Bermuda National Trust to welcome residents and tourists for a special toast to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary at the Globe Museum in St. George’s.
