Support for those who care so much. 💙

Caregivers give an enormous amount of themselves to support the people they love. Often, while managing appointments, treatment, family responsibilities and everyday life, their own wellbeing can become secondary.

Launched in honour of World Alzheimer’s Month, Solstice’s Caregiver Support Initiative, in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Social Development and Seniors, is making support available to caregivers across Bermuda from September 17 to October 17.

Made possible through funding from the Ministry, applicable health insurance coverage and a significant contribution from Solstice, the initiative is intentionally inclusive. It is for anyone caring for or regularly supporting someone with a health condition, disability, long-term illness or significant care needs who could use some support themselves.

Eligible caregivers can access individual supportive counselling at no out-of-pocket cost, as well as free drop-in caregiver support groups. The groups are not diagnosis-specific - they are a space to connect with others who understand the emotional and practical demands of caring for someone else.

Drop-in caregiver support groups:
Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m.
September 22 & 29
October 6 & 13
Thursdays at 5:30 p.m.
September 24
October 1, 8 & 15

No registration is required for the groups - come to whichever session works for you.

The Studio is back - with a new line-up of after-school groups at Solstice! 🌟

Open to students from schools across Bermuda, The Studio offers a range of small, supportive groups designed to help children and teens connect, build confidence, develop new skills and have fun.
