Neither Chris or Christine were able to make it past their second round opponents...they wanted nothing more than to battle it out in a Foster vs. Foster semi-final, but that'll have to wait for another race!
Race Recap to follow later this week... for now a much needed rest and recovery this evening.
And we can't forget to highlight Christine's mom Tracy Chambless as today is her birthday. She is spending it on the road home so let's send her some well wishes!

Chris and Christine made their final qualifying effort yesterday, with Chris running faster, but Christine taking the holeshot 😏. Chris finished in the #3 spot, Christine in the #10 spot.
Now that qualifying is complete here at the U.S. Nationals, IT’S RACE DAY!
Chris & Christine Foster will be on track around 10:30 AM ET... here’s to them both turning on win lights and meeting up in the semifinals!

A little husband vs. wife competition at the BIG GO.
After Q1, Christine had the bragging rights and was sitting ahead of Chris.
Then Q2 happened… Chris snuck past her on the qualifying sheet, leaving the Foster household #3 and #4 after Friday qualifying at the U.S. Nationals!
#3 Chris Foster — 5.600 at 260.66 MPH
#4 Christine Foster — 5.622 at 256.21 MPH
We’re pretty sure the most important question isn’t who qualifies where tomorrow… it’s who gets to claim they were the fastest Foster at Indy. 😏

Before we hit the track at The Big Go, we’re throwing it back to a pretty special Indy memory…

Chris picked up his first NHRA National Event win on the biggest stage of them all, INDY!
14 years later, Foster Racing is back at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, and this time both Chris AND Christine are ready to take on The Big Go!
Chris knows what it feels like to hoist a Wally at Indy. Christine is coming into the weekend fresh off a runner-up finish in Brainerd.

We knew Chris Foster was going to make it, but Christine Foster 's dad Curtiss Chambless put in the hours to make sure there would 2 Foster's with a shot at a diamond wally at the 2026 NHRA US NATIONALS!

A red light ended Hudson’s day yesterday, so we got to spend some time as spectators. It was great to see such an awesome crowd at our home track, Cordova Dragway!
Unfortunately, the show ended early due to weather, and today was a complete rainout.
We got home a little earlier than expected and got right back to work because there are only a few days left until the BIG GO!
Next stop ➡️ The NHRA U.S. Nationals at Indy! 🇺🇸

Changing gears to from Funny Car racin' to junior racing at the world series of drag racing here at Cordova Dragway.... there is a huge field of over 50 cars and a lot of tough competitors.
We even ran into Dave Hirata and Molly as he is here wheeling the Drastic Plastic altered.
