You may hear that a CV/ resumé is required to complete your undergraduate application.
This may puzzle you because you do not have any work experience and you think: why on earth would they want your CV!?

-Well your CV at this stage is not only about any work experience you may or may not have. Your resumé is used to identify and account for any “gaps” in your studies.
Many institutions have a limit to the amount of time you can be away from school before they can admit you. So if you’re plan on taking a gap year, be careful! This may close doors to some schools.
If on the other hand you use your gap year to work in a field relevant to your field of study interest, then this may boost your profile and enhance your chances for admission.
