Our recent Faith & Cultural Leaders Dialogue created space for meaningful conversations grounded in listening, respect, and shared humanity.

Through honest engagement, participants reflected on the intersections of faith, culture, human rights, and the importance of fostering communities where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

This International Non-Binary People's Week, we're celebrating the diversity of gender identities while creating space for learning, understanding, and inclusion.

Marriage Equality Case Update 👨🏾‍⚖️

The marriage equality case resumed today at the Botswana High Court in Gaborone, where the Court heard applications from organizations and individuals seeking to participate in the matter before the main constitutional challenge is heard.

Applications before the Court included:
LEGABIBO, seeking to join the matter as a co-applicant;
Dr Onthatile Moeti, seeking to participate as Amicus Curiae (friend of the Court)
The Evalengical Fellowship of Botswana, The House of Churches and The Dingwetsi Association, seeking to join the matter on the respondent’s side.

Today, the Court heard submissions from all parties on their respective applications.

The Court has scheduled 4 September 2026 for the hearing of joinder and amicus curiae applications. The main hearing of the marriage equality case is scheduled for 22-23 October 2026.

Save the dates: 4 September 2026 and 22-23 October 2026.
