Gabz Rising Stars travelled to South Africa for the highly competitive Gauteng FA Champions Cup. After a thrilling final filled with heart, determination and courage our Under 15 boys lost on penalties to Fleetwood Academy. Our Under 12 squad finished 4th in the playoffs after being eliminated in the semi finals through a penalty shootout.

The Champions FA Cup, South Africa’s premier youth football platform, recently hosted its highly competitive Gauteng Championship from June 13 to June 16, 2026, at Queens High School in Johannesburg.

The tournament serves as a crucial development pathway for schools, academies, and clubs across the country. Teams that excel at these regional qualifiers advance to the massive year-end Champion of Champions Finale, which boasts a total prize pool of R1,000,000.

Well-done to our players that got selected for the next Re Ba Bona Ha Camp.
