And so it begins 2 days early and I have to go south for training today :(

Happy bunnies checking mout thier new home. 🥰 Raven and Jewel will be roomies for a few more days until I can put the door on the other side of the dual hutch.
Hopefuly the weather cooperates this weekend.

Ok. The whole fresh egg scandal of, ´how to boil your egg and not have chunks go with the shell. ´

I have done the: poke a hole at the air pocket end. Break the air pocket. Vinegar. I feel like I’ve tried them all.

Grocery store eggs are like 3 months on the shelf. That’s why they peel so easily.

What I do;

Get my big pot. Put tap hot water in and put my eggs in. Boil for about 10 min. Then put in cold water. Sometimes I hit the air sac side, sometimes I don’t. And peel. But you NEED to use 2 week old eggs. At least. I’ve done a week old. Alright. Some still screw up. 2 weeks is my magic mark. Since I wait 2 weeks. I don’t do anything weird or special magic.

Feeling great full

Its been 14 years since we left our acreage down south and came back home to LaRonge.
What an adventure its been!
We started off sleeping in tents with 7 kids, for the first summer and fall, while we cleared the land and built everything from the ground up. With the help of friends and family we built a beautiful life for our selves here at rabbit creek.
