🫧 Walker Wash at Abrio Place! 🫧

Before the fall weather arrives in full force, Abrio Place’s Youth Volunteer Group rolled up their sleeves and hosted their very own Walker Wash!

Inspired by a classic car wash, the volunteers scrubbed, rinsed and polished residents’ walkers until they were sparkling clean and ready to roll. There was plenty of teamwork, lots of suds and even more smiles along the way!

Thanks to these hardworking young volunteers, the walkers are now squeaky clean—at least until the next Walker Wash!

💛 Memories and Friendships to Treasure

A few Rocky View Lodge residents recently helped decorate new Memory and Friendship Jars to have ready when they are needed.

When a resident moves to a higher level of care, the jar is filled with heartfelt notes and memories from fellow residents to take with them. When a resident passes away, the jar is given to their family as a reminder of how much their loved one meant to the Rocky View Lodge community.

Each jar is a beautiful collection of friendships, memories and love—small notes with a very big meaning. 💕

⚔️🏰 Hear Ye, Hear Ye! A Spectacular Evening at Rocky View Lodge! 🏰⚔️

Rocky View Lodge residents were transported back to medieval times during an exciting longsword and axe-fighting demonstration!

One resident’s grandson—who recently captured silver at the World Longsword Competition in Denmark—returned with his father to showcase their incredible skills. More than 30 residents gathered outside to watch the thrilling display, and Mother Nature joined the celebration by providing beautiful sunshine throughout the performance. ☀️

Afterward, residents had the opportunity to take photos with the lodge’s very own tall knights in shining armour!

It was truly a spectacular evening worthy of the royal court! 👑🛡️⚔️
